Spring Bayou Fest Presented by Palmettos on the Bayou has Expanded to Two Days: Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, 2009
The Festival features top local bands, “Jazz Fest” style food booths and will include a Bayou Clean-Up co-sponsored by Keep Slidell Beautiful and fundraiser for the Pearl River Conservation Alliance for preservation of Louisiana coastal wetlands.To download a photo of Big Daddy O, please click here.
Palmettos on the Bayou, a waterfront restaurant in Slidell, has announced tickets are now on sale for its Spring Bayou Fest to be held Saturday, April 4 from 2pm – 11pm and Sunday, April 5 from 3 - 10pm. The top line up of entertainment includes: Big Daddy O, Little Freddie King, Jumpin’ Johnny Sansone, JB Elston, Invisible Cowboy, Troy Turner, Papa Fernilla and more!
The Festival will also feature "Jazz Fest" style food booths selling items such as gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp and oyster po-boys, BBQ, and some of Palmettos signature dishes such as Eggplant Palmetto, and Catfish Bonfouca.
Tickets are per day or for both days.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Pearl River Conservation Alliance for the preservation of Louisiana’s Wetlands.
There will be a Volunteer Bayou clean-up from 9am - 12 noon on Saturday, April 4 co-sponsored by Keep Slidell Beautiful. Pre-registration is required and all clean-up volunteers get FREE admission to the Festival for that day!
